Single-cell Technologies for Microbial Community Characterization

Tuesday October 16th, the Center for Microbial Ecology and Technology will bring together leading international researchers in the field of single cell microbial analysis at the “Single-cell Technologies for Microbial Community Characterization” mini-conference. This conference will focus on new developments in integrating both Raman and flow cytometry with genomic technologies for studying microbial function and community structure in diverse ecosystems (i.e., aquatic, engineered, host-microbiome). The talks will be followed by a Q&A session where practical issues for establishing routine microbial flow cytometry in different ecosystems will be discussed. The detailed program can be found here.
